COFFEE SPEC
THE BEAN'S STORY
ALTITUDE
At 1,200 MASL, this Costa Rican coffee grows in the SHB (Strictly Hard Bean) range. Cooler mountain conditions slow growth, helping create a sweeter, more balanced cup.
PROCESS
Washed processing separates the coffee seed from the cherry, creating a clean, balanced cup with a smooth finish.
ROAST
A medium roast builds sweetness and body while keeping the coffee clean and balanced.
TASTING NOTES
COSTA RICA
Coffee found its way to Costa Rica in the late 1700s and never really left. It became one of the country's first great exports, and the high-altitude farms that made it famous are still setting the standard. Some places just have the right conditions. Costa Rica is one of them.
